Join us for an exciting season of indoor netball at the highly anticipated “Shooting Stars” Netball Championships 2023, proudly hosted by Allsports Indoor Smeaton Grange. Experience netball like never before, with a fast-paced, off-the-nets version that guarantees non-stop action and loads of fun. This year, we invite you to “Shoot for The Stars” and showcase your skills as a star player on our purpose-built courts.

From Under 7s to Under 16s: Something for Everyone

Our competition caters to young netball enthusiasts aged from Under 7s to Under 16s. Played every Thursday afternoon during the Spring/Summer season, it serves as the perfect complement to the outdoor netball season. Rain, hail, or shine, our purpose-built indoor courts ensure you can enjoy the game without any weather interruptions. If you love netball, you’re going to love this game!

Represent Your Favourite Super League Team

In our 2023 Junior Netball Championships, you have the opportunity to choose your favourite Super League team and represent them on the courts. Will you choose to be a Swift, Thunderbird, Magpie, Giant, Vixen, Firebird, Lightning, or Fever? The choice is yours! Secure your preferred team early to be first in line for this exciting experience (see flyer below for jersey selections).

Competition Details

• 10 rounds, followed by semis and finals.
• 7-a-side competition with a maximum of 11 registered players per team.
• Teams and individuals are welcome to participate.
• Each team will receive an exclusive team top with registration, which you get to keep.
• Players compete in the age group corresponding to their age in 2023.
• Open to boys, girls, and mixed teams.
• Games consist of 2 halves of 12 minutes each, with a 1-minute break at halftime.
• Umpires, balls, and bibs are provided by the organizers.
• No games are played during school holidays.
• No training required.
• A fun afternoon activity to keep your skills sharp.

Playing Times

Thursday Afternoons (4pm – 6.30pm). Each game runs for approximately 30 minutes.

Age Groups

• 7/8s
• 9/10s
• 11/12s
• 13/14s

Game Fees & Registration – $160

To participate in this thrilling tournament, a fee of $160 per player is required. This fee covers all games, registration, playing strip (jersey), as well as insurance. Please note that all game fees must be paid upfront. As an Active Kids Provider, we also accept Active Kids Vouchers, making it easier for you to join the competition.
